Invitation cards Lou and i made for her birthdayparty this sunday.

Yesterday...all of a sudden i had this great idea...and five minutes later i was buying paint....not "just" paint....the color has a beautiful name...it's called: Bloem (from flexa voor VT wonen)

It was a bit scary because the first layer was weird...it was not really the color i had in mind....but today...the second layer was much much better...i like it, it makes me happy, Looks like sunshine says Lou.

Friday i'm in love

Otto is in love with his Godmother Eveline.
Friday there was a "goodbye" party for Eveline at Vicky's. Well....goodbye....Eveline left only on holiday to Vietnam for three weeks. But Vicky thought that was a good reason for a party. Personaly i think every reason is good for a party!!
Maybe it would be a great idea throw her a welcome home party, hihi.

Horse on the loose and tennis in da house

When we came home from swimminglessons we had to stop for this horse. the man on the bike managed to get it back to his stable. Lou thought it was very funny that this horse went for a walk on his own.

Today we are celebrating the 30th birthday of the marine 'absorba' jumpsuit. This outfit was saved from the bin because i used it to dress my doll. It is funny that a jumpsuit i used to wear 30 years ago, still excist, and now fits my own son....

I'm five months old here and looking very melancholic...

Otto is only three months old....hmm....I must say, Otto is a big baby (or i was a small one:-)

We went to my brothers house today and look what i found on their mantelpiece... it's a birthdaycard i made for Bregje. I think it looks great in combination with the vintage Armstrong record. :-)

Lou has a new wooooooly fluffy jacket. she's as soft as a kitten now. Ideal for cold autumn days.

not-so-lazy sunday

Otto is taking a nap (yes for Ot it was a lazy sunday,not for us), he looks a bit like bigfoot :-)

I have to make a painting for a doktor's cabinet, she 's a pediatric. I want to make something sweet, what do you think of the one in the frame?

Atelier by night:

This is our atelier today. Toys laying on the ground (Lou made a trail of toys, hurray!)We have put on the stove because it was getting cold. On the floor next to the stove there are the "gyproc-platen" for our livingroom-wall.
The renovating went very wel today. We still hope to get the wall finished by wednesday....

rainy/sunny/windy day

Noor, Otto and Lou. Noor really loves Otto,she wants to hug him all the time, she even told her schoolteacher that she had a new little babybrother Otto. Noor is such a sweet adorable girl (just like her mom :-)

Our house. The weather was really strange today, one minute it was raining and then suddenly...there was the sun. rain and sun together... i think that is why Lou was so full of energy today....and i wasn't because yesterday we went to Mieke's birthday party. It was 4am when i was finally in my bed...and Otto woke me at 6.30am....hmmm :-(

Last thing we need to renovate in our home is the livingroomwall. We've started this week and we hope to do the finishing touch on wednesday....ahum...thumbs up!
Do you notice the "airplane lamp"? We have been rebuilding our house for over 6 years now, and the only thing that always stayed on the same place ...is that lamp, we took down the walls, we've put in new floors...and the lamp didn't move. Unlucky for the lamp...but i think it won't fit in our livingroom once finished...

Once again, look how cute i am. And of course this is my dad's favourite shirt!

Sad day for Mister Lion

Otto has a new toy... he likes to watch the flames in our stove. This morning he was suddenly very quiet, then i saw that he was watching the flames dancing. Funny isn't it? Mister Lion is no longer his favourite toy.

Oh, nostalgia. This is what was on our table when Lou left for school. On the left is my scetchbook, on the right is her little red piano with a chestnut cobweb (i used to make them too when i was little)

Waauw, what an "übercool mutseken" i got from otto's godfather!! Otto will be the coolest kid in town :-)

hihi, my mom told me she would kill me if i posted this picture. Here you can see my "supermom" (please don't kill me)at work. She is ironing our laundry. In the right bottom of the picture you can see that i also did something usefull this afternoon...i ordened my paint by color...

Dew pearls on our lawn

Mother nature gave us a beautiful present this morning! When the sun came up, a million dew pearls turned into a super shiny carpet on our lawn. these little things make me smile :-)

tuesday=clumsy doctor's day

Back from school, everything nice and clean? alright then, you can watch tv for 5 minutes!

look at me in my box, with my toys. and still i don't like laying on my back...i want to stand up. laying down is so boring!

In the waiting room at 'kind en gezin' this afternoon. do you notice the intelligent look in my eyes?....i know what is going to happen...the docter is going to give me my polio shot...oh joy!

Otto was a very brave boy, he didn't make a sound, i did instead, i was very angry because the needle broke, and the docter said: "oh, thats no problem. " wel, duh! grrrr....

lazy monday

Still-life in my hallway, most of the stuff i bought very cheap in "de kringloopwinkel". i don't know why...i guess i just love the vintage look of toys, the stories behind the scratch-marks :-)

Lou had a day off from school. So an excellent day to go to ikea and eat icecream...

We bought a very big storagebox (yes yes, for the playmobilhouses!!) and two sets of led-lights to put in our new livingroom-wall. i hope to post a picture of it very soon...!
